Sanja is the Centre’s Senior Project Manager. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and senior operations specialist with over a decade of experience working across large USAID-funded portfolios in global health, education, and governance in Africa and Latin America. She has supported projects implemented by organisations including Chemonics International, DAI, Creative Associates, and Counterpart International.
Most recently, she served as Project Management Unit Director at Chemonics International, where she led multi-country project management units, strengthened organisational processes, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and oversaw compliance, governance, and risk mitigation aspects of project implementation.
Sanja holds an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics and a BA in International Relations and Spanish from Fairfield University. She is Bosnian American and is based in Rabat, Morocco.
